Our Guarantee, Terms of Service, and Warranty
Just like finger prints, no two computers are alike.
When we evaluate your computer, we will typically have a good idea how extensive the fix (and its cost) will be within the 30 minute "Basic Diagnostic" period.
After this initial "Basic Diagnostic" period, we will present you with our recommended solution(s). In most cases, along with our recommended solution, we will be able to provide you with our No Excuses, Fix It Again guarantee. Under the terms of this guarantee, if your computer experiences the same issue within two weeks of returning it to you, we will make a second, no cost to you, attempt to repair the original problem. If for some reason, we are still unable to completely repair the original problem on the second attempt, we will refund the cost of the original repair minus the "Basic Diagnostic" fee.
In a small number of cases, though, we will be unable to offer the above guarantee after the initial "Basic Diagnostic" period. This usually happens when:

- There is a serious virus or spyware infection,
- There is a serious Operating System or Application error condition or incompatibility,
- There is an intermittent or pending hardware failure.
A few things to keep in mind when requesting service:
- Computer repair is an in-exact science. Just like a doctor can never guarantee that he/she can completely heal a disease, The Computer Connectors can only guarantee that we will use industry standard techniques and our best efforts to resolve an issue.
- Your data is important to us. Please make sure to backup your data often! We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that your data is safe while we work on your computer. But, hardware and software failures do occur unexpectedly and more often than you might imagine. When a hardware or software failure causes a loss of data, we will make additional, reasonable efforts to work with you to recover that data. However, we cannot bear any financial responsibility for the loss of unprotected (backed up) data.
- The dollar amount limit on our guarantee is equal to the amount we've charged for the repair minus the "Basic Diagnostic" fee.
- In addition to our own products, we also use multiple vendors and strategic partners to source non-TCC hardware and software for you. All non-TCC hardware and software product returns are subject to the individual return policies associated with those vendors and partners. Please ask if you have questions regarding a return policy prior to order.
A few things to keep in mind regarding physical product warranties:
- Our physical products are often combined with third party vendor products to provide customized solutions for our customers. Those third party vendor products often have their own warranty terms. Please consult with those vendors for warranty details.
- Physical products that we manufacture come with a 90 day warranty unless specified elsewhere. Failure resolution will be in the form of product replacement.
- Failed products must be returned to us prior to warranty replacement.
- Returned products must not be damaged, intentionally or otherwise, in any way.
